Well..one of the many local car groups, had a meet today, and for the first time my Beetle got to make friends with one of my friends aircooleds (she's met aircooleds before but never one owned by one of my friends) also, other cars, pretty much just talked about cars for hours, I bumped music via my Beetle's 10 in subs, and we had a cruise, but any who, here's pictures of the Beetle's together. These photos do not belong to me, but to the owner of the other Beetle, which yes, is slammed, lol.

I had a red die cast model Beetle when I was little that I absolutely adored. It looks just like yours.

We used have a 68, but it was maddening.

Couldn't make it up our driveway and overheated a lot.

It's been a love/hate relationship with Beetles ever since.

Mine has a fairly new motor in it, and my local VW shop is crazy knowledgeable when it comes to tuning and maintaining

My dad had restored this one in the 80s and turned it into a Herbie tribute. He unfortunately could only afford Brazilian parts and not the German ones at the time, which we all regretted later.

We were constantly wondering how a car with absolutely nothing on it could break so much.

They are not particularly nice to drive, but I still find myself wanting one every now and then.

I like driving mine, as long as it's not windy out, lol

I'm not gonna lie, I'd totally rock one with whitewalls.

Too bad I'd look like an idiot if I strapped a surfboard on one since I live in a land locked state.

I really want to get a classic rack on mine..then modify it for a bike, and throw my single speed on it. I could pull off a snow board, mountain board, kayak.. mountain board, long boards.. surf board is one of the few I couldn't pull off, lol. Colorado :D

Yours is nice, it's look good with some whitewalls and a rack.

Your buddy's slammed one needs to become a Kubelwagen Type 82e replica with a slight chop top
